EGF - Environmental Global Facilities is the Portuguese company that provides the majority of national production of valued agricultural organic concealers in treatment units from the north to south of the country.

EGF Organic Concealers are natural products without chemical additives that have a very positive effect on crop growth and yield, increasing the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil, such as water retention, aeration and the increase and diversification of the soil's microbiological activity.

In 2019 EGF secured the production of 24,000 tonnes of organic correctives, which were used in arboreal and shrubby crops, namely vineyards, orchards, olive groves and forest species.

Depending on their class, as provided for in current legislation, these concealers are also used in agriculture (arable and horticultural), in soils for bioenergetic crops, floriculture, green spaces, football and golf fields, and as land cover and landscape integration.

In the concept of circular economy, organic waste is entirely used as a resource for the production of soil improvers, fertilizer elements, cultivation/germination substrates and the development of other innovative products.

The reuse of these organic wastes allows the replacement of the use of mineral fertilisers produced using hydrocarbons, the partial or total replacement of the use of peat and phosphate rich mineral rocks.
